  • Livestock Sales

    Our cows are fed grass hay and weigh between 700 and 800 pounds.

     We sell livestock with prices starting at $500.

    We also sell butchered meat, for $9 per pound.


      Everyone contributes. In the picture below, our daughter is helping us pick potatoesHere, she's watering the mint
    All this work is really good for you, it helps
    you develop very very strong muscles,
    as shown in the next picture:

 

 
We also grow much of our own food:

  • Okra
  • Green beans
  • Lettuce
  • Onions
  • Leeks
  • Melons
  • Potatoes
  • Corn
  • Zucchini
  • Carrots
  • Berries
  • Grapes
We have over 100 free-range hens and we sell their eggs to the local co-op.

We strive to eat as healthy as we can, we feed our animals as healthily as we can. They are never confined to a small, cramped space, and we butcher them as humanely as possible.
All in all, our little farm is home to 7 dogs, one cat, one almost-lame mule (She has a bad hip, she can only carry little guys)and her 2 companion goats, in addition to the chicken
and the cattle.Every year, around Halloween, we sponsor a Pumpkin Fest for the local Head Start children. The kids, their family and their siblings come to our farm, are given a tractor ride to the pumpkin patch and they pick their own pumpkin.
Then it's back on the tractor to the hay bale maze which is full of hidden treasures: small toys, candy, crayons, small music instruments, etc...

 

We just had a new birth on 9/7/2008.
